Micah 5:1-7:20;  Revelation 7:1-17;  Psalm 135:1-21;  Proverbs 30:5-6

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah…out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from old, from ancient times.”  Micah 5:2

Who dat?

Jesus.

“He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.  And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.  And he will be their peace.”  Micah 5;4

Who dat?

Jesus.

“Then one of the elders addressed me saying, “who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?”  I said to him, “Sir, you know.”  And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation.  They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”  Revelation 7: 13-14

Who dat?

You.  Me.  All who believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“For the Lamb in the midst of the throne shall be their Shepherd and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”  Revelation 7:17

Who dat?

Our Lord and God!

From the Old Testament prophet, Micah, to John who recorded God’s Revelation to him, our questions are answered.

Who saves us from our sin?

Who will “shelter us with his presence?”

“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne , and to the Lamb!”  Revelation 7:10

Dat who!

Lord God–your prophets foretold Christ’s coming as the Babe of Bethlehem.  And they have foretold of his coming again to judge all people.  We eagerly await his coming!  We thank and praise you for dressing us in the white robes of righteousness paid for with the blood of your son on the cross.  Through faith we believe that our sins are truly covered and that is why we do not fear your return.  Help us, Lord, to share this wonderful good news with those who need to hear.  In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

“Amen.  Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever.  Amen!  Revelation 7:12
