“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?”  Romans 8:35

A scoffing daughter?

An unbelieving spouse?

A ridiculing boss?

A vindictive employee?

Past failures?

Bad decisions?

Political correctness?

Popular culture?

Atheist professors?

Doubts and fears?

Extreme poverty?

Excessive wealth?

Failing political systems?

Joblessness?

Homelessness?

Prejudice and oppression?

“No in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 8:38-39

Lord God Heavenly Father,  through your son Jesus Christ we are bonded–glued tight–to your tender mercies.  Because of Christ’s sacrifice and his blood which covered all our sins we are forever yours.  For your love O Lord which binds us to you we give you our grateful thanks and praise.  We thank you for your assurance in your Word that there is NOTHING that can ever separate us from your love.  We are yours– now and forever.   In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
