Deuteronomy 18:1-20:20; Luke 9:28-50; Psalm 73:1-28; Proverbs 12:10
“When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,
I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.
Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I
desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion forever.”
Lord, no matter what the future holds you are there for me. Today the seas are smooth sailing and I thank you. But tomorrow can bring change in an instant. Please be with all those who are experiencing a life changing crisis at this very moment. Be their confidence, their strength, their peace. May they see the victory won for them on the Cross of Calvary–that sin, death and Satan’s temptations cannot separate them from your love and your purpose for their lives. May they see the Risen Christ and know that He has given His all just for them. I pray this in His most precious name, Amen.
