2 Chronicles 26:1-28:27; Romans 13:1-14; Psalm 23:1-6; Proverbs 20:11

“Let no debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandments there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Romans 13:8-10

Lord, today may I love my neighbor as myself. To think of him more highly than myself. To serve him. To do good and not evil. To help in any way. In doing so I will be walking in your footsteps. You fulfilled the law completely when you gave your life for me on the cross. That is a love debt I will never be able to repay. Thank you Lord for loving me that much. Thank and praise your holy name! In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
