Job 31:1-33:33; 2 Corinthians 3:1-18;  Psalm 43:1-5;  Proverbs 22:8-9

“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody.  You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God.

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves,

but our competence comes from God.  He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant–not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”

2 Corinthians 3:2-6

God send us out as living

letters

with the message

of the Spirit’s

power to

infuse faith

and change the way

we act,

speak,

think,

respond

to the world around us.

Send us out as living letters

spelling out

grace,

mercy,

love,

and kindness

to those we meet.

We may have

run on sentences,

misspelled words

or incorrect grammar,

but the message will be the same:

“For God so loved the world,

that He gave His only Son

that whosoever believes in him,

will never die,

but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

Send us, Lord.

Signed, Sealed and

Delivered by You.

Amen
